Laurie Perry is the current CEO of the Wonnarua Nation Aboriginal Corporation (WNAC) an organisation that exists to support nurturing the history and culture of the Wonnarua Nation, improving the health and education of its members and managing investments to sustain the Corporation’s work.
Based in Singleton, in the Hunter Valley of New South Wales, the WNAC was established in 1999 to represent the Wonnarua people.
The WNAC have a number of initatives underway to support cultural maintnenace of the Wonnarua community. See: Wonnarua Nation Aboriginal Corporation Website.
